Join us on an excursion to Open House Chicago.
Open House Chicago is sponsored yearly by the Chicago Architectural Foundation. Over the course of one weekend each October, some 250 architectural landmarks open their doors for visitors to see the interiors of these magnificent buildings normally closed to the public. Have you ever walked by a building and thought, "I wish I could see what's inside?" Now you can. Tour soaring skyscrapers, repurposed mansions, opulent theaters, exclusive private clubs, private offices and breathtaking sacred spaces.
The Wood Dale Library is offering a day-long guided excursion into the city to attend Open House Chicago. Registration is required and must be completed by September 27. There is no charge to participate, and free round trip transportation will be provided by the library. You are welcome to register after September 27, but only those registering before that day will be eligible for the free transportation.
Complete details are available at the library.
Although we have reached the maximum number of registrants, it is likely there will be cancellations. Please go ahead and sign onto the Wait List and you will be notified if a space opens.
