From Sonic the Hedgehog to Limbo, platformers are a wildly popular game type this course teaches students to create. Students learn to build their own platformer and maze games, applying intermediate-level programming concepts (such as Events, Functions, and Game Physics) along the way. Students graduate the course independently able to recreate classic platformer games like Mario and Kirby!
Prerequisites:
Completion of Scratch: Intro to Game Development OR basic coding experience
