Presentation by filmmaker John Borowski
This evening, filmmaker John Borowski will screen his multi-award winning film H.H. Holmes: America;s First Serial Killer. At the height of his criminal career, the infamous Dr. H.H. Holmes designed his castle of horrors in Chicago, where he rented rooms to unsuspecting victims visiting the 1893 World's Fair. This incredible true story is threaded with on-location footage such as his childhood home in New Hampshire and the Philadelphia courtroom where his trial was held. Following the screening, John will respond to quesitons and discuss his research and filmmaking in Chicago. (Please note: This film is intended for an adult audience.)
